Hi all,

It was the last day of service for Aer Lingus two remaining (I believe?) B737s yesterday and I was glad to get a picture of EI-CDG on it's final service to Birmingham on yesterday as did Jon (BHXlocal).

Need your shades for this one! :D

It's not as dramtic as FR retiring their B732s but it was a workhorse of the EI fleet for a while - Anyone have any good pics? experiance of flying them, stories etc

Very sad to see them replace the 737 with A320s, though they are quite old.

As I realised yesterday, give me a 737 anyday over the A32X series!

Does anyone know where they are going (i.e. storage, new customer...)?
Great shots all of them

This is the only one I can find at the moment, although I've probably got more.

I'll have a look later. :)

As you should be able to tell from the colour scheme many have gone to Pulkovo, although some have gone to Kaliningradavia.

Ahhh well it will be sad to see them go a few also went to Air Baltic. Ill always remember being stuck in the last row of EI-CDD on the way back from LHR 2 years ago.

Presumably this consolidation of it's short haul fleet with Airbus products will have a bearing on Aer Lingus ongoing discussions regarding which manufacturer will meet the airline's future long haul needs?

Wasnt Willie Walsh the main driving force behind common fleet? I dont think we can be sure yet if they will stick with Airbus since he is gone. Interesting to see how BA order in future mind...
