The stories..... ( an airplane story in particular )
The man with the story; x-warton, laid - off engineer, from uk
The airplane story.....
" The BA 747 that just landed at Frankfurt from the UK.... it had exiited the main and was on the high speed taxi way and for some reason it stopped. After a pregnany pause...the ground tower controller ("barked") a kirt and icy command ("what is your problem")..... the reply from the BA aircraft was ( "minor problem" )........("will advise")......... another pregnant pause.......... the tower ("WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM HERE @ FRANKFURT!!!") in a very impatient tone.............. the BA aircraft reply was ("very sorry tower, glitch fixed"). The BA 747 immediately started to taxi and then after only a few seconds stopped again. The BA 747 captain keyed in to the tower and said (" the last time we were over frankfurt , we did'nt stop").......... the tower "chatter" was quite silent for an few ,,very long seconds."
I did the math and the BA captain was 18 when he was over Germany.
