-Really nice shoot - something soothing about it.
You don't really get those types of Sunrise shots here - defo worth the effort.

-Nice shot.
Would be just as great if you'd get to Heathrow for the same time on 26 September to photograph a certain A340-600 arriving ;)

-Thanks for all the further comments. Here's the rest of them. It's hard to compress these and keep them sharp at the same time, I'll try and post links to the full size ones over the next few days. It's not a wide selection as I usually post, but I was only up there for about an hour and a half.

-Superb, all of them! The BA B772 is particulary good! Mainly due to the GE90s I think. ;)

- Speechless!
Have you not snapped the early Thai Airways 747 arrival? Scheduled for 7.15am, but at least 30 minutes early most of the time.
And I'm drooling at the sight of those Virgin A346s! :o

The title says it all really. Don't ask why we (me and Mark L) were up at 4am/leaving my house at 4:30am/at Heathrow for sunrise! ;) :D I don't think we know ourselves.
Anyhow, I think it could well have been worth it. Not long got back so here's one to keep you waiting while I get on with editing the rest this afternoon. I think this may well be my favourite photo I've taken in a long time, if not ever. Can't get the full effect I don't think at this size, I should have the full size one online soon.
