Nice photos. When I flew out of ABZ to LGW 4 weeks ago, I didn't dare take any photos because there was a man with a video camera and he got taken away by armed police!
Is that Virgin 747-400 "Barbarella" based at MAN, because my parents flew on it to Las Vegas from Gatwick about 2 years ago.

Looking at photos, VROM is indeed Barbararella.

Cheers Tom, i regarded T2 before Wednesday, probably the best Terminal in the UK, but just seeing the toilets made me want to puke. What i don't understand is how AMS gets sooo much more passengers and gates, but they are able to keep the airport clean, tidy and plesant!
If MAN would use the T3 concept on the other two Term's then MAN would work again for me!
Don't get me wrong, i'm still gonna use it, i've always loved using MAN, and i always will!

Oh no!
The restaruant before security, was sticky, and dirty. A saw many a black pudding on the floor etc. Only pluses i can give T2 is the shops thru security. Alpha Shopping is excellent, and the checkin area is airy and has plenty of light.
It is deffo a beautiful buliding, just needs a bit of a clean :o

Ah right, sounds like a typical airport resturant ;).
What do you think of BFS? I saw one hell of an improvement airside personally (New Starbucks, Boots etc), just a shame Jet2 always use gate 17 on the LBA flights, down in the basement ;).

So i'm back afer my 2nd trip with KLM to AMS this year. Had a nice 2 nights/3 days there. B733 out, and B738 back. So 3 types to 737 in 5 days (Could have been 4!)
The pics on the 1st reply is of Wednesday, with the 2nd post including the pics of yesturday's flight. Weather @ AMS in the afternoon was apauling! The viewing deck was drenched, so i was lucky to grab one or two shots from there. Also they have a nifty screen showing you what aircraft is on what gate, and what reg they are!
I wish all airports were as generous as AMS!
Also i'm complaining about the standard of T2 @ MAN. Dirty, smelly, it badly needs a clean up. Even tho T1 isn't much better, i'm glad i'l be using T1 in 4 weeks time. Get your act together, blithering MAN plc
anyway on with the pics!
Next stop.......Hong Kong/Zurich!!
