I thought I'd add some zest to this forum.

Here's a chance to win one of my aircraft templates, answer me these questions. The first one to get all right wins so be quick. Beware some may be a little tricky.

EDIT: For true and false questions, please answer only with True or False
Each person may only enter once.

  1. True or False: A Boeing 757-200 has the ability to reverse out of a gate under its own power
  2. True or False: The Boeing 707, 727, 757 and 737 share the same flight deck windows.
  3. What do the most recent liveries of the following airlines have in common: Air Europe, Cathay Pacific and Gulf Air (new)
  4. How Many miles of wiring is contained within a production new, standard config Boeing 747-400? 14 miles, 171 miles, 200 miles, 120 miles or 25miles
  5. True or False: Indian Airlines ordered a number of A320's with a pair of 4 wheeled bogies for the main landing gear.
  6. What registry did the first ever concorde to fly carry? F-WTSS, F-TWSS or F-SSTW
  7. True or False: The 777 has a rose named after it

Good luck folks.
The quiz ends the moment I announce the winner and the judge's (me) decision is final :)

The Quiz has been won by Craigston_Tom. Well Done to him. Please do not post anymore answers.

OK, Sandy - I've closed the thread now. Well done, Craigston Tom. :)

1. Not sure, would guess it has the power, however with low slung engines fod ingetsion would be a problem, however I have seen B732s reverse! So yes.

2. 707/727/737 True, but not the 757 I dont think.

3. All designed by same company (Landor??)

4. 171 - guess.

5. True

6. F-WTSS - F-W is the french pre-delivery / test "B Class" mark.

How can Craigston_Tom and GAZGLA have the correct answers when both parties have a different answer to Q6 one has to be wrong surely? As Craigston_toms answer to #6 is F-WTSS and GAZGLAs answer is 6) F-TWSS
