-Surely they will go for Boeing, as they already have B737s and B767s?

Why the A330?
The 787 will be a much better choice. No contest.
EDIT: My comment is based on the fact that the 787 is designed to replace the A330/767/A300

Have to agree here, love the A330 but i think most new orders will go for the 787 over the A330.

-Incredible work by Boeing to have secured so many orders for an aircraft that has yet to fly! It appears they have a winner in the 787! Airbus is taking a pounding in this sector.

-Even still, that is a very sweeping comment to make. The aircraft hasn't even flown, nor has it met any performance targets - How can you tell at this very early stage that it will be better than the A330/B767? Regardless if Boeing have a good record of meeting targets, it's still just a paper-plane at the moment.I hope the B787 is a success and does meet it's targets; I simply refuse to hear that it will be the better aircraft at this early stage!
The airlines seem to think differently Matt.

Whats that got to do with 787?
If its a comparison you're on about, PCs and Macs each have their pros and cons.
Macs can be more stable, but when they crash, boy do they crash.
PCs, they crash yes... but they don't eat your data like macs do when they crash ;)
Besides most airlines I beleive run PC based servers and software. Swapping to MAC would be hugely expensive as booking engines, ATC commuications et al would all need to swap over. AFAIK

-"Think different" is one of Apple's slogans. :)
"Think Incompatible" is the retort from PC fans. HA HA
