I thought they were adding another two new 738's and a pair of leased 734's to the fleet ?

Good news, although expected. I believe it is their intention to switch to LGW after summer though.
I don't think there is another B734 coming, just the two remaining B738s, there are conflicting reports that they are both due this month, or that they are to be delivered at the rate of one a month, May and June.

-Cool, I think that GSM will actually somehow do better on the route. Good to see a 736 in the UK.

-RIPConcorde is spot on, they will switch to LGW in October. Good news for GLA/EDI/STN and GSM.

-Is this aircraft going to be coming from SAS? I'm sure I heard that rumour somewhere.
If it is, they're great inside with a rather unusual galley layout. Feels more like a galley of a much bigger aircraft. I had the pleasure of travelling on the SAS 736's from BHX when they used them for the CPH run, lovely aircraft.

They're both ex SAS, don't suppose they could come from too many other places really! ;)

-Can I ask why they will switch to LGW. Why not start as you meen to go on???

-They cant get slots at LGW right now and im guesing they are doing STN so that the a/c is not sitting doing nothing and get the name known in the London area?

So Malev, TunisAir, Air China, Lauda (as was) don't operate them anymore then or don't want to get rid of any?

-Apparently the training flights for tomorrow have been cancelled as the aircraft is still in ARN and I've heard it's not even painted yet?? It will supposedly appear over the weekend :)

Hey everybody.
Ive just read that GSM are going to start GLA/EDI to STN using their new 737-600s.
I cant get onto their website just now, my connection is a bit slow. Does anybody know if their is any truth in this???.
It certainly would be interesting to see them compete against EZ and FR.
