Well after years of promises, an A319 is flying a few domestic LGW routes since Thursday, sorry if this has been posted, but ive been away!
G-EUPS has been assigned as the 1st based A319, though it allways nightstops at MAN.
This seems to be the start of the end for 737's @ LGW, tho we wont see um all go for a while yet!
And Willie is not a fan of the 737 anyway, A320's for EI?? :D

The 319 at LGW is a short term solution to lack of aircraft in the same way as the 737 came back to LHR at the end of last year.

Although the intention is to one day have an all Airbus shorthaul fleet at both London bases, this isn't yet the beginning of the end for the 737.

Sandy, i meant it as a joke - sorry if it offended.

But you have a thing about anti airbus jibes. We to be honest get sick of that... as Tom said someone was just reporting the change... Im actually glad someone did, as i didnt know that is was due to be happening quite so soon.

How long would it take for BA to totally replace all the 737s with Airbus?
