Fatal helicopter crash near Trump Tower.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2019/06/10/heli...manhattan.html

Breaking news that this afternoon, a helicopter crashed onto the roof of a skyscraper near the Trump Tower. There was one fatality believed to be the pilot, but not yet confirmed. It is being stressed that this is not considered a terrorist activity.

Cannot see a connection there. The pilot apparently was not in contact with air traffic, should not have been crossing any buildings and should have been using the safer water route. The weather was atrocious and the tops of buildings were obscured. The mystery is why he was heading in that direction, away from his base.

Unbelievably, a good and comprehensive report on the accident and the pilot, Tim McCormack.

The thread title is a bit over the top/sensational.
On lower Manhattan EVERYTHING is near the Trump tower...and everywhere else.

A bit like a crash in London being near the Palace.
There are two sides to every story. The truth is usually somewhere between the two.
