I just wanted to know wether the EU, in the the case of open air operational policies has a regime that is allowed to fine in any matter airlines that do not keep there promise of operations after accepting to be a part of the open skies agreement?
India, will be signing the Open Skies policy with USA soon, and they have released a penalt clause if any airlines be it Indian or American do not fulfill there promised commitment will be barred from Indian skies for a maximum of 2 years. Which sounds a bit absurd to me.
