-By the way, when I was at the airport pub before watching the amazing landings a British airways Avro got in much trouble and had to do a go around. It was the closest I've ever been to a Go around, pics will be on next week. Good work Grey!

-Excellent Grey!
The bmi 135 looks much smaller there that i've seen it LOL!
It was one hell of a morning (floods and power cuts here), with my Brother supposed to go to CDG from LPL, but all early moring flights there were cancelled due to the winds!

-1) Embraer 135ER G-RJXL - British Midland's latest.
Is this a new livery for them or a new airplane?

-Hi,
Some great shots there! :)
What was the cause of the Emirates diversion to LHR. Too windy to land?
Flex 35

-Im pretty sure that was the reason.

-A new aeroplane, Whiskey Delta.
From whom did they aquire the -135?
By: 8th January 2005 at 20:50 Permalink - Edited 1st January 1970 at 01:00
-It is an ex-Jetmagic aircraft.
By: 8th January 2005 at 20:53 Permalink - Edited 1st January 1970 at 01:00
-Yes, Flex 35 - the aircraft diverted after a 3rd missed approach.
All 3 approaches were pretty "adventurous".
The flight finally arrived at MAN at 15:18 or thereabouts.
Oh, and green320 is spot-on with G-RJXL. It's c/n 145376, ex EI-LCY of JetMagic.

Well, it was blowing a bit this morning! Some very interesting landings indeed. :diablo:
1) Embraer 135ER G-RJXL - British Midland's latest.
2) Fokker 70 OE-LFL in the Austrian Arrows scheme.
3) B777 AP-BGK of PIA with an ominous sky behind.
4) B767-400 N66057 of Continental. No more B777s for a while now.
5) B777-300 A6-EMQ of Emirates deciding that discretion is the better part of valour and diverting to LHR.
6) At last, a decent picture of B767 E3-AAO of Eritrean Airlines!
7) Another one of OE-LFL, this time pushing back from B pier on Terminal 1.
Enjoy. :D
