A Boeing 732 has suffered a sheared 'Trunnion bolt' and consequent gear collapse after colliding with a herd of cows or water buffalo on the runway, whilst delivering relief to Banda Aceh airport on the tsunami hit island of Sumatra.

They have just said on the news that they have managed to move it from the runway, so fixed wing aircraft should be able to get in and out now.

Its lucky thats all that happened and not a serious crash that could have closed the airport for days.
