Just been reading the Daily Mail and in there lies an article about the effect on BA if the new Stansted runway is built, it goes on to say that there is the possibility of BA going bust if it is built because of the effect of all the lo-co's etc.
Virgin also announced that it would be a highly bad desicion to not build a new runway at LHR where there would be a better economical benefit.

If another runway was built at Stansted what would be the benefit? other than more Easyjet and Ryanair flights, I doubt any major airlines would be willing to move from LHR or LGW.
Also what would be the point of T5 at LHR if there is no-one to fly from it because airlines went bust?
