Very harsh Wys. I like the DC-10 just not as much as the Tristar.

That's a bit strong don't you think.
The much maligned DC10 got this reputation through some mishaps that were not the fault of the Aircraft

Just an occasionally used colloquialism such as the follow up MoreDeath 11 and the rival Lockheed DeathStar.

Damn it, I can't even say anything about the TriStar at work either for fear of upsetting people!!! No seriously, it was a good but overcomplex aeroplane in its day, however its day has been and gone.
