That's a bit strong don't you think.
The much maligned DC10 got this reputation through some mishaps that were not the fault of the Aircraft

-Damn it, I can't even say anything about the TriStar at work either for fear of upsetting people!!! No seriously, it was a good but overcomplex aeroplane in its day, however its day has been and gone.

How many Airlines still fly DC-10s, also how far can they travel on a full load and what is the fuel consumption.
