    Trent XWB certified!

    See:
    http://www.flightglobal.com/news/art...ficate-382053/

For reference, GTF is, as of now, NOT certified - Pratt and Whitney have completed tests, and applied for approval, but have not received approval.

When shall any A350 prototype be ready for engine installation?

Which other planes is Trent XWB suitable for? Such as future versions of A380?

Future version of the A380 is highly unlikely. The present one doesn't sell enough to cover production costs.

Yes, and two of them are installed on a prototype, which has announced rollout date on 7th of March.

Has any A350 prototye been equipped with two XWB engines, and is there any due date for rollout?
