-Very sweet.
There was a famous picture taken some years ago in Germany of a quizzical-looking George W. Bush holding a baby boy screaming his head off.
That was a hilarious picture, so what about that baby (though he or his family would have to be paid for usage rights)?

-Taken at East Midlands Airport where it is being maintained and re-painted, was undergoing runs on the day, still hadn't been handed over fully due to some engine work that was on going, when completed it should change to TOYL and go online..... so hence the rare view of it coded as Thomson but in Baby livery. Indeed when in the shed the Reg had been masked off, but had to be demasked for the runs.
Mod, you have me lost here....... surely this is Commercial as I am simply showing the new scheme and giving people a heads up before it is revealed and info where and what is happening BMI wise.

Nice pics thanks, hope its not babies as crew though:rolleyes:
Not a great advertisement for a 'paint shop' though - notice the severe lack of paint on upper part of hanger structure:D
Sure needs a lick of paint.

-They are shutting Cardiff and Manchester, announced this morning the BMI Baby crews based there have been given 30 days notice. :(
Paint shop is this side of image, I could post a pic for you :)

Apologies. Back on topic...
I suppose the tail design is original for the cut-price arm of a regular airline, if nothing else.

-I still think the next one should be called "Smashing Baby"!!!
They'll probably steal that idea like they did when I suggested on PPRuNe they call G-TOYI "Geordie Baby"... Next thing I know, the damned thing was indeed called "Geordie Baby"! And they don't even fly to Newcastle, but someone got the idea!

Don't wory about the paint on the paint shop or lack of paint on the 'not the pain shop' hangar, just my awkward sense of humour.
Not good news from BMI but maybe it will save jobs by consolidating locations. Not easy to up sticks for crews though.:(
Does it mean they will not be operating to or from Cardiff and/or Manchester ?
You pics are good that's all that matters.

Certainly withdrawing services to Cardiff, which must be a blow to the airport more than the airline as there are some very quiet patches through the day as it is.
Re the schemes, I much prefer the existing one.

Taken whilst out for runs, the reg will change from Thomson to TOYL when the handover is complete.
