Russians Fencers have similar flare dispensers with rounded front and back. Of all the pics I have seen (and I have seen hundreds), Su-24 are seen with or without these dispensers. The explanation is certainly taht mecanics don't want to remove these devices when they are fitted, as it is a waste of time. On the other hand, I am not sure Iranians have such devices in spare for the Iraqi ones!!

Look harder. The rounded ones are not dispensers, just plain wing fences. The only Russian Fencer with dispensers I have ever seen was the Su-24MK demonstrator #93.

That's possible. I am pretty sure they don't have any spare ones because we surely would see them installed on ex-Iraqi examples from time to time..

That's the transports & trainers covered, but does anyone know what letter/numeral combinations the combat aircraft (F-7BS/GS, Kfir C.2/C.7, MiG-27M) now wear?

    Thanks, Jamie
Once again this excellent site has answered my query, lovely shots of SLAF aircraft in their new livery. Note most have variations of those blue bars seen on the An-32 in the Ukraine, they look EXACTLY like RAF-style squadron bars and I think that's what they are!

    Hi Everybody!
I found some information, which wrote the next: the Georgian, Azerbaijan, Armeian air forces had Tu-16 Badgers in the early years.... Anybody can confirm this? If it is true, I am looking for pictures!
    Happy New Year to Everybody!
