Is this a new addition to the fleet, didn't think brunei flew A340's, thought that they mainly used 767's?

This is one of the Sultan's 'personal' aircraft, Andrew. There have a been a few. A couple of years ago, he had another A340 up for sale at the Dubai airshow that had apparantly been a gift to/from his daughter, or something. This one was painted in a greyish color scheme with similar cheatlines. The particular aircraft in this picture, I believe, is the prototype A340-200.

of the Sultan of Brunei. His 342 is painted in BI house
colours and carries the registration V8-BKH.
Appearantely he owns 2 x 342., but the other 342 is
currently stored in Berlin SXF.

The A340 sold at Dubai Airshow had nothing to do with Brunei. BI has also added a A319 lately.

What a beauty!!! very nice pics. Yupe you are right Greekdude. it must be the royal flight. Usually they use 767 or 757 for the international flight.

I personally hate that colour scheme! To me, and i dont know why, it reminds me of a mustard flavour packet of crisps or perhaps corn flavour. Anyway give my easyjet c/s any day
