http://www.flightmemory.com/ I have been round the world 10.8 times!
It looks the perfect size to me to cover that hole in my shed andat 99p fairly priced.
100 percent positive feedback, really good comments from buyers, I cannot understand why anyone with a record like that should give a toss what is said on this forum.
Best be careful I would hate to set off another hissy fit.
Is it some kind of competition ?

Can someone tell me what is being offered for sale on eBay and what the seller has to say about the forum because eBay France - bless their little cotton socks - has blocked this item to those, like me, who live on the other side of the channel!
Another bit of a wreck site robbing no doubt .![]()

There are two ways of looking at the comment about Flypast Forum members - it can be looked upon as a warning/vieled threat or the vendor could be a forum member and is having a laugh at what he has seen by way of comments in the past![]()
Roger Smith.
A Blenheim, Beaufighter and Beaufort - together in one Museum. Who'd have thought that possible in 1967?

It can't be of Germanic origin, because it is exactly 13" long....
All that is necessary for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing.
By the tone of his description he is very blunt and straight to the point but one thing that is missing is the history.
If I was a prospective bidder then I would want evidence/proof/history of this item before I made a bid, this is also a double edged sword for the seller as offering the history of the item in his description would no doubt attract more bids.
Or...........is it that he does not want to give the history of the item as forum members would then know where it came from, possibly landing him in trouble????.
IMHO he is hiding something.........Note to abij1230 your actions are being watched by forum members![]()

Hi
for seller history when it has expired I use the following
take the item number type it in ebay search box and it produces the previously sold item .
i.e. item 320113725582
' Messerschmitt 109G Canopy Relic WW2 Luftwaffe
This canopy centre section originates from a 109G but it was retro fitted to the Me-109 below.
Messerschmitt Bf-109 F-4, WNr.5402, II./JG 5 Made forced Landing at Hamna Syltefjord on 17 Nov 1943, aircraft had to make a forced landing on the ice at Hamna bay, due to bad weather and darkness. The pilot was unhurt, while the Messerschmitt was reported 20% damaged.
unfortunately I don’t know the name of the pilot but no doubt through research will uncover his identity
Canopy has been carefully bead blasted and primed. '
cheers
jerry

Just another splattered bug on the windscreen of my life ...
Seems like us forumites aren't worth a good stern warning any more.

Does this mean someone is going to have stump up a quid to uncover this, undoubtedly, fascinating history?
And no, I'm not!
Wonder why the 'warning' has gone though?

Well don't worry if you missed a bargain for £1, perhaps the vendor of this grey painted canopy might take a similar offer you never know your luck !

There is a reason they call it EvilBay!!! Recently saw an oil pressure gauge from " a Spitfire, P-51, a B-17 or a B-52" Hmmmm, didn't know they all shared so much in common!!!! Especially jumping to the jet age with the 52!![]()
Well if you are looking for something a bit more substantial without a "forum members" health warning attached, on eBay France a slightly bent bf 109 propeller blade is being offered by a seller in Normandy. The opening price is 200 €, there are no bids at present and there are 2 days 9 hours to go. I can't do a hyperlink but the item number is 140166806943.
No problem, here it is.![]()
