Yes, it real. No, they are not collided. No story - just another training of far range aviation regiment from Engels, Russia. This time they did circle around Scandinavia - thats why Norwegian was so close.

I took this one of an USAF F-15 intercepting our charter 737 coming back from an air cadet camp in RAF Laarbruch circa 1993. The flight was from Wildenrath to Luton.

This is more of a photo op.
They are a little large to post as a photo, so I posted as a link, as a courtesy not to screw up people's bandwidth or to screw up the way the message board Page is viewed.
To me this is to the point that it becomes a safety concern, hopefully this was just an exception to the rule.

I've seen some interception pictures where aircrews put funny messages or pretty women pics up against the Canopy. Anyone have any of those pics to post?
Eurofighter Typhoon intercepts Russian bomber.
The photographs shows an RAF Typhoon from Number XI Squadron shadowing a Russian Bear-H aircraft over the North Atlantic Ocean on 17 August 2007.
