I couldn't find the blessed thing either when I searched for it - you may just have to do a blanket search of the whole forum for Wethersfield (note the spelling!)...

WTF?!![]()
- Daren CogdonWasps are the Katie Price of the Animal Kingdom - utterly pointless and bloody irritating!
You wouldn't want to get an engine out on the '52 while doing that.......![]()
....We only borrow for a while, we don't keep....
Not a problem they've got seven others left.

This picture was taken in the spring of 1990 as we started are

I was up in the "tower" with the air boss as the Viking squadron rep
for the launch/recovery and these Buff drivers (2 of them) called that
they were at 8 miles for a flyby. They had been 'orange air' for a
big war - at - sea exercise we were doing When they called 5 miles
the boss said "we don't see you" and we heard back "look low".
Out on the water we saw this smoke trail first, (the planes merged
with the color of the water) at about a 1-2 miles we could break them
out and the two buffs came by at 20-30 feet off the water splitting
the ship at about 350kts. Then they pulled up and did a big plan
form 180 and said "do you want to see that again" - The air boss said
"hell yea" so they went back out an did it again.
It was the only time in my 20 year career that I have seen any
services jets purposely flying below flight deck level."
It's real alright; scroll down this thread:

I'm always amazed by the agility of gliders at low altitude. Last year at Old Warden a glider did three loops in a row at very low altitude. Very impressive!
Now here's another nice low pass... I think these guys wanted to copy the famous Spitfire "F me!" videoI guess they succeeded!

I don't think anybody needs telling that those "RAF Tornados" in Anna's first video were actually Belgian Alpha Jets?
The second vid was very nice... good to see the Victor too. What a beast...
Speaking of beasts, here's a low pass by a B-29.
From this site with loads more great photos: http://members.tripod.com/~imogiri/lincoln.html
PS. If I remember correctly, that helo crash involved some fatalities![]()
