Do not worry- it works fine!

Hopefully it will bring the role of you and your colleagues in assisting the USSR during the Second World War to a wider audience.

Innovative in presentation, dynamic, informative, and moving. An honour as well, to have a participant on this forum. It's about time for this chapter in RAF history to be the recipient of a fresh, modern production.

A good friend in a rarely garrulous mood said that he flew Hurricanes over Stalingrad. I tried to get more but the shutters came down.

Congratulations, Tim, you looked superb there! Well done to all of you who participated.

I'd say that for a modern, non-specialist historical staff this was a great effort. I enjoyed it, tiny factual niggles and all. Outstanding stuff. As well, I certainly agree that it is very much high time for an improved Western recognition of this and all such episodes, those which just so happened to take place farther east than some persons' mental and political capacity seem to be able to allow.

Thanks for sharing, and take care of yourself!

I respect all those who took part in the armed forces of whatever nation. THEY certainly did not start the war but were serving their country.

I sat and interviewed Eric Carter for a couple of hours in 2015. He flew Hurricanes with 81. Squadron and in Murmansk with the Russians during the lend-lease period. Not sure if this is of interest but here are the videos:

All grist to the mill, Paul! Ties with his book - Operation Benedict.

    Good to hear from you.
