    Yeah, this dog-fight imitation looks very impressive - i'm sure, MAKS visitors will like this part of the show the most.

    Absolutely, and I think that this is the first video in the world where we can see the use of post-stall maneuverability in WVR combat simulation.

    In this particular situation they wanted to show how you can get from defensive to offensive position, and just how easy you can turn inside of your opponent and how to manage to keep your energy at high level at the end of the maneuver and still stay at "bad guys" 6 o'clock.

    I really hope we will see this at MAKS 2017!

    My favorite angle of the T-50 (also, removal of optics/defensive systems from 09?)

    Mesmerising .

    Isnt Bort 509 supposed to have the RAM treatment ? From these close up pics, the in flush rivetting arent treated and there isnt a RAM layer on each and every portion of the surface .

    I don't think there is any RAM on that plane to be honest.

    Not only that but the panels on the heat exchangers on the rear of the canopy are very very badly fitted and aligned.

    ====Please don't start a war, I know ...I know, I am just noticing what's on the photo, OK? ======

    Yep, I concur.. no RAM or very little of that..

    Regd. the heat exchanger panels, there is only as much as you can do with the precision of the fitment, I suppose.. The rest is normally handled by RAM which covers it all up..
    Those RAM-less F-22As stationed at Kogalniceanu airport didn't look much better than this, to be honest..

    T-50-9 has the same RAM coverage as T-50-6-2 and T-50-8. The border isn't as clearly visible here:

    As it is on this picture of T-50-6-2 (and T-50-1):

    But it is visible nonetheless.

    Great photo. 052 is wearing its age well. But you can see how far they have come with refinement in the later models.

    What would be great to know is how many flights each version has done up to know. We had a rough guide 2 years ago, but that was long ago, with extra birds and more flights happening, i wonder if any information will come out about this.

    If anyone is at Maks with some contacts be good to get a rough estimate from somebody.
