Landing? Did it come in over the museum or how?

Just curious - I remember watching the re-maiden of this glad after the restoration.

    Duxford Tuesday 23rd May:

Another busy day at Duxford, with plenty of engineering and practice display flights.
2017's first outing from MH434 was certainly memorable.

And amongst all the aeronautical eye-candy, the ugly duckling Prentice!

Said with the greatest affection, as 'PJB was my first-flight aeroplane in 1975, and I am delighted to see her out and about!

Thanks for the wonderful images, as ever.

Don't suppose anybody is able to confirm the current status of 'Sally B'?

Not heard anything after the issues last week.

Sally B is ready for a busy weekend, crew training on Friday and displaying at Duxford on Saturday and Sunday.
On Monday, she will be training, displaying at East Kirkby and also paying her annual tribute at Madingley.

    Thursday 25th May

A quiet day, flying wise, and a bit warm with it as well. The Bronco did three displays, getting lower each time and TFC's P-40C went up for a test flight for about 30 minutes. The Sea Vixen flew up from Yeovilton and did a couple of circuits so the pilot could get the lay of the land for his display at the weekend. Highlight was the arrival of the Osprey late afternoon and rumour has it that a Pavehawk and Apache will be joining the line up. Subject to the usual's.

Aaaahhh, so that's where it was going!

I was surprised to catch it at EHLE this morning, obviously for a fuel stop:

T'was a warm day at Duxford. Unfortunately we had to leave just before 5pm so only just caught the arrival of the Mig, and the Comet formation.
The camera had been put away by then Nice to see the Rafale, a first for me I believe. Interesting to see how the WWI formation coped with
the strong crosswind, by landing at approx 90 deg to the runway

    Sorry for the duplication

When "Isn't" there a strong crosswind at Duxford ?

That's spooky - was just this minute reading up about the Bronco's Poppy livery on their web page and what passes just to the west of BobHQ, heading north, but the Bronco!!!!
