Thank you Brian, I had looked at the FB account and its update was the 22nd February and why I asked the question but as a person who Facebook is not the be all and end all of life but I had taken on board what you said before. I am only generating a bit of chatter on the forum after all.

    PS She is looking good

Slight difference ,it has always been representing other aircraft in memory of others ,it has not been built under the auspices of calling itself the original airframe --grow up.

How about you lighten up? Huge job ahead of them but done to their usual high standards PA474 will delight us for years to come.

Had a great close up walk around thanks to the Radial 9 club members day. Incredible amount of work has been put into the old girl.

ArCo should be really proud of this one, a new hangar and the first aeroplane to be worked on in it is our own Memorial Flights Lancaster PA474

Nipped into Duxford today and first stop was the Lancaster viewing gallery. The smell of paint greeted us as we opened the door and things have moved on apace since our last visit a few months ago:

Presumably 'Rhubarb' managed to find a big enough saucer for the roundel transfers?

They were testing the undercarriage and bomb doors yesterday! They were filming it for ARCo instagram story! The kangaroo is applied now! Won't be long before her props are turning again!
