Yes, BERP III was used on production Lynx and the technology further developed into BERP IV used on the EH-101.

A trade space of around 240-300 Knots has been mentioned in the past for the program.

For the JMR-TD precursor to FVL, the US Army has laid down a number of key performance parameters for the competing designs. In terms of speed, the service stipulated in its 2012 Broad Area Announcement a performance of more than 230 kt while carrying 12 fully equipped troops.

Powered by the Lycoming/Honeywell T55 engine, the SB>1 Defiant is expected to fly at up to 250 kt, while, as the designation suggests, the General Electric GE T-64-powered V-280 Valor is said by Bell to top-out at 280 kt. While both demonstrators will be fitted with current-generation powerplants (the T55 drives the Boeing CH-47 Chinook while the T-64 does the same for the Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion), both will likely benefit from the Improved Turbine Engine Program (ITEP). ITEP and Future Affordable Turbine Engine (FATE) programmes are now underway.
