    On the off chance...

Does anyone happen to have any AGS104 3.5" outer diameter control cable pulleys kicking about? They don't have to be airworthy, just good enough to clean up for a static cockpit.

AS104 is the AGS standard but MS24566-4B or equivalent would do.

I've had this running as a query in another thread, but guess it won't hurt to add to this list-

WANTED! One Vickers Varsity nose wheel, for purchase or to borrow for pattern making purposes. (Or, four of them if anyone has them!)

    Cheers!

WANTED - LORAN APN-9/R65 Airborne receiver and GEE Mk3 indicator unit

    Hi all,

As the title says, I need a LORAN APN-9 reciever set, and a GEE Mk3 Type 26 indicator unit. They can be missing parts internally, broken, not working, whatever. All they need to do is be reasonably complete and suitable for use to fill a gap in an aircraft restoration; the aircraft in question being Avro Shackleton WR963 at Coventry Airport.

If you have either and are willing to let them go, please drop me an e-mail to shackletonwr963@googlemail.com

    Kind regards,

    Rich

Having acquired 98% of the original instrument and component fit for the pilot instrument panels of the J.A.M. "Car Door" Hawker Typhoon 1B project; we are now left with the following missing items which we have been unable to source as of yet.

2x Thermotank Punkah Louvres (27H/421.) Fitted right up to Shackleton/Pembroke/Canberra/ Vampire, etc.

This was used on Hawker Aircraft from the Hurricane to the Sea Fury; but it looks as though we might have to reverse engineer an example.

Any help would be much appreciated.

And just to add to the optimism; we also need one of these...

    Hi Windhover,

Alan Hulme has some Punkah Louvres. There were definitely some on his stall at Newark this year.

They look a similar size from memory as the ones you are looking for.

Looking for a scruffy but complete B8A stick top to go on a 50's - 60's column if anyone has one cluttering up their man cave?

I think the Horsa had them too. There is something very similar in the parts inventory with an Airspeed number 622812 but no A.M. Stores ref.

I think I recall Alan Hulme (aka Air Ministry) had a B8 grip on his stall as well, at the Newark aerojumble last weekend. If not him then there was certainly one for sale at the event.

I have two 2-way switchbox magneto switches. Not sure what they are from, not sure where I got them. But if anyone is interested, let me know.

! have recently become involved in the Aeronca 100 ex VH-UXV/VQ-FAJ now ZK-AMW, S/No AB105. It has been completely rebuilt and is going fine. At some stage in life the JAP J99 engine has been fitted with a Stromberg NAS2 carb, as was the original Aeronca E113C. I can but assume that when the C3 was adapted for building in England that one of the structural changes made involved the engine mount frame as, with the Stromberg fitted, the float chamber drain plug is making contact with the structure and the top of the drainplug has been filed away to provide a slight positive clearance to the frame. This also necessitates the removal of the carb from the engine to access the inlet screen, a rather tiresome procedure. I understand that the JAP was fitted with an Amal carb or the Zenith 156AL. Does anyone on the forum have access to a J99 maintenance/overhaul manual that I could obtain a copy of ( I have the E113 manual) but more importantly, does anyone know of an Amal or Zenith for the JAP that I could buy?? This request is in addition to the post for the Zenith for a Cherub in #147 above.
