The Defense Security Cooperation Agency stated that Australia has requested the possible sale under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program of up to 70 AGM-88B High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) tactical missiles and up to 40 AGM-88E Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile (AARGM) tactical missiles, and training missiles, among other things. The prime contractors are Orbital ATK and Raytheon.

Interesting -- Australia is developing a full SEAD/DEAD capability with the Growlers it seems.

So why are Australia buying 70 AGM-88Bs instead of more Es?

    Saudi lining up THAAD acquisition

The US government is currently trying to get approval for billions of dollars of defence sales to Saudi Arabia, Reuters reported US sources as saying on 5 May.

According to the sources, Saudi Arabia wants to acquire the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) ballistic missile interception system, a command-and-control battle management and communications (C2BMC) system, and satellite capabilities from Lockheed Martin.

The Saudis also want additional Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and 155 mm M109 self-propelled howitzers from BAE Systems.

Reuters also stated that Raytheon Paveway guided bombs, including ones with penetrator warheads, worth more than USD1 billion are being discussed.

Well that's interesting, most analyses of max Yakhont/Onyx range do not get up to 1K....not even this rather optimistic analysis:

Good to see India not dealing with castrated ranges due to treaty limitations anymore...

I guess a lot depends on flight altitude. As a typical rule of thumb you go about 3 times further at high altitude compared to sea level. So the question is 900km at what altitude?
