    Strikeys have the guns in the lower part of the intakes,and the cartridge ejection chutes stick down behind.The wings also have the other weapon attachments on the underside.The instrument panel usually has different instrumentation,gunsight,etc,and the ejection seats have projections on top to allow for `thru` the canopy` ejection.

    Does anybody have a closer view of the script on the tail of this Kurdish EC-635, under the roundel? Does anybody know what it says? Is it written in Arabic?

    Photoshop it ain't.. On the YI-255 it looks painted if you ask me.. They also seem to use the YI-413..

    The Kurdish flag on the Mi-171 is not painted, it's fabric. See the shadow cast by the underside of the flag onto the fuselage.
