Sun in Manchester - unheard of ! Spent an hour at the Tatton Arms getting some practice in again. Nothing spectacular I'm afraid...
Shock, horror - a slightly different angle than my usual shots - I need a lie down I think !
That's the lot - cheers for looking !

Great photo but I really dislike Monarch's current scheme.
Great set of shots culpano
It's a shame we don't get any turbo-props at LHR any more![]()

Nothing spectacular...other than a spectacular collection of photos Culpano, thanks for sharing!
Matt-100, Brussels Airlines have operated the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 into LHR on a number of occasions, but its very much "once in a blue moon"; usually an A319 or an Avro RJ. I totally agree with you though about not seeing any turboprops at LHR...the company I work for handles AF/KL, and they both use to operate turboprop aircraft (ATR's & Fokker 50's respectively), but they've been replaced with bigger, more modern aircraft. I guess that the airlines will always use bigger aircraft because they are simply feeding customers into their European hubs?
I have to say that I actually quite like the new Monarch livery...its bolder, brighter and better than their previous ones that's for sure!

Cheers for the comments folks. Oh dear I've missed a real gem today at Manchester. Yakutia B737-700 with winglets came in 00:15 from Shannon and departed at 9:25 this morning (in glorious sunshine). Wondering whether anyone caught that one and we see a pic on here.
