I actually agree with him, it won't be any more monopolising than BA+BMI or LH+OS, so I don't really see how the EU can say no?
Besides, I understand Aer Lingus is a failing carrier. So given the choice between total collapse in the next 5 years or a take-over, I know which one I'd choose.
