One of my all-time favorites is the "baby Sabre"... but please, the single-Orpheus version, not the mutated twin-J85 version!

That 2nd image of the PAK-FA in white (or somesuch) is the best i have yet seen.
Is that shiny metal one the Hughes racing machine depicted in the film?
Mirage 2000 and a Su 30 MKI my vote.
Along with the Vigilante, I also agree that the Spitfire was nice looking. Also for a transport plane the Super Connie is beautiful. I was in a Super Connie squadron VR-7 from 58 to 61. I ran the Connie Flight Simulator. Also the B-29 and the B-70 were good looking for such large aircraft.
There is an old saying that says that if a plane looks right it will fly right.
I would like to add that I fully agree with the person that said the f-23 is a great looking plane, much better looking than the F-22.
If you can believe what they said about the F-23, it was faster, and had less radar signature than the F-22. Probably politics got in the way, since the F-23 appears to be a better plane. It probably falls in the same catagory of Washington thinking that took guns off our fighter planes.
Speed and stealth are hardly the only performance criteria the ATF program was judged on... the F-22 scored higher for air-combat maneuvering and predicted lower manufacturing costs.
More important was the fact that at the time the award was given (April 1991) the USN was still part of the program, with the NATF intended to use as much of the winning ATF design as possible... and the F-22 planform was far more suitable for carrier compatibility than was the F-23 planform.
After the F-22 was declared the winner the USN was green-lighted to develop its own airframe to fit the same engines and avionics into... then the USN program was cancelled altogether less than a year after the F-22 had been selected.
My favourite the F 16
followed by the Vulcan and Rafale
