The roundel on the Mi-8 looks different. It appears to have a white middle ring, with a darker center.

But the photo doesn't look like the standard Indian roundel. No saffron that I can see. And I know it's from the Maldives, because I can see the nose of their Do-228 SAR aircraft peaking out from the front of the Mi-8.

Tajikistan is independent since 1991. The Tajik Air Force still uses the old Sovjet roundel, sometimes in combination with the countries emblem and sometimes with the national flag.

    edit. Found on FB
It was the swedes that painted this one in danish colours. At end of WWII, 15 danish pilotes was trained in Sweden and ready to use if necessery against the germans. It was no need of this, and the planes was not allowed to land in Denmark by the new authorities. They were never bought and the plane on the museum is depicting the danish brigade, based in Sweden. And of course, they could not paint real danish military cocards, an occupied country vould not have an airforce in a neutral country, so they just painted some stuff that just happeneds to be red and white...

    HUTT RIVER // continued..

the name 'PROVINCE" was the first historic one, afterwards changed in Principality :

    according to wiki :

The micronation was founded on 21 April 1970 by Leonard Casley, who declared his farm to be an independent country under the name Hutt River Province. He attempted to secede from Australia over a dispute surrounding wheat production quotas. A few years later, Casley began styling himself Prince Leonard and granting family members royal titles, although he did not include the word "principality" in his country's official name until 2006.

but the main question remains 'open' : what was the logo on the Fuji's fuselage ??

    friendly yours,

    ETIENNE

Greetings! I have contacted the Hutt River government via email, and asked for a good image of the insignia on the Aero Subaru. Will let everybody know what they have to say!

Qaher 313 update (read at own risk).

Mar. 5, 2017, Iran’s defense minister, General Hossein Dehqan, claimed that work on the domestic radar-evading plane is complete and the Qaher is now ready for testing, as reported by Fars news.

“Qaher is a logistic aircraft for short distances and is a light fighter jet used for military and training operations.

Sometimes while searching the internet you find strange things. For example, why the combination of a Zimbabwe roundel with a China flag on this Percival P.56 Provost ?
