One of the earliest film I remember seeing Simon Ward in, was Young Winston
He was good in the Tudors as Bishop Stephen Gardiner

Actor Simon Ward, who amongst other things starred in the WW1 film Aces High, has died aged 70 after a long illness. He will be remembered as the pilot (Crawford, i think) who in the film claimed to be suffering from Neuralgia, to avoid going out on flying missions whilst attached to a squadron on the front line flying SE.5's (replicas). He also starred in Judge John Deed and more recently in The Tudors.
RIP Simon.

Aces High is one of my all-time favourite films. I recently acquired the novelisation of the film from eBay.
RIP Simon.
- Daren CogdonWasps are the Katie Price of the Animal Kingdom - utterly pointless and bloody irritating!
As a young James Herriot alongside a brilliant Anthony Hopkins as Siegfried.
It is better to be born a beggar than a fool.
