Not at all savage just disposing of rubbish that would cost a lot of money to keep and act as a warning to others to consider the consequences of their actions

A little out of datebut the majority wanted murderers topped

give him a bloody good working over,
Bring back the bovver boys and let them do to him what he did to that little tyke...

Are these the actions of a "civilized" society? No, not really.

The death penalty isn't coming back. End of. Despite a Daily Express opinion poll carried out just after the 2011 riots.

Ask yourself this, do want the return of the death penalty as revenge or as a deterrent?

Thats funny, I thought, that our Judicial system WAS still in the Dark Ages, it's well beyond time that a radical overhaul was carried out regarding the Law.
and the Judicial System, and brought into line with some other no nonsense Countries.

    Such as? Iran maybe?

If the UK was lawless centre of criminal activity I would agree but it isn't is it.

If that's the case, why are there "NO GO" areas in London, whereby in the Mets own words, even Coppers dare not walk through, and they ARE the Law.

They all have higher murder rates than the UK (some much higher) so I'm not sure what your point is.

My point is/was they don't put up with attacks against their own country.
As for this country being a civilised society, Jim makes a valid point. I would also suggest you venture into any one of our towns or cities after dark and view the civilised antics of our citizens.
Take enough money with you in certain areas and you can buy or rent a gun.
As for drugs you can usually buy them in the street near a school gate or outside a Tesco Metro.

Its a valid argument, there is a scary relationship between the perception of justice and revenge. I would advocate the death penalty for crimes like this, but accept that I will never happen in the UK.

So, what punishment does indeed fit this crime? Life with hard labour, solitary confinement, or let him go and give every police officer in a 100 mile radius the night off and announce the release on the radio..... Could any of us seriously lynch the man? Just an open question......
You can teach monkies to fly better than that....

Seriously I would lynch him. I hope the Police would keep their usual high standard up and not prosecute me if they found me.
Hold on a minute! 3 square meals a day, jumping the NHS waiting list for ops teeth and everything else. TV and an Xbox(whatever that is) in my comfy warm cell I would probably hand myself in!

FIREWORKS over the weekend. They drove my two dogs absolutely berserk.
It must be worse for horse owners though, that are stabled, and not with their owners.

Not being a party pooper, but why do we celebrate the failure of Guy Falks, be more to celebrate if he had been successful.

we did a fireworks show a fortnight ago, where there was a stables in close proximity to our primary firing site, subject to this we changed location to secondary firing site, horses do tend to be startled by fireworks, there was a stray in a field, i went down to make sure it and the public if they turned up were safe,

however as i type this, there are some idiots setting off fireworks at 20 past 2 in the afternoon...i do question their mentality, its daytime for that imaginative blokes sake!

I'll keep my response to that "on ice", if that's OK!! But I certainly agree about fireworks, although for some unaccountable reason the weekend was not as bad here as it has been in past years - I reckon it's all going to happen tonight!!

Hope it was a "Walk away" job for you, and no whiplash effect. The Insurance Companies, say women are better drivers than men
However, on the News, a couple of weeks ago, The E.U. wants to make female drivers Insurance the same as mens, thus making both sexes equal.in Insurance Premium Payments.

That as well but mostly down to it being ******* ****. Not to mention having to go out and buy Office whereas a fortnight ago I could have got one loaded with 7 that would have included a starter edition which is perfectly adequate for requirements,;.!

I'm glad you saw the funny side.
Some of the older stuff such as XP doesn't have as much info stuff on it.
Most users say the new stuff slows things down as it takes up too much memory...JB

General lack of consideration and thought for other people - that's EVERY day - walking or driving. Today another pair of "thick-as-two-planks" young women side by side, both yakking on their phones, pushing buggies with children in tow monoplolising the narrow, busy pavement, utterly oblivious to their surroundings.
