BSG-75 I feel for you with that I to suffer from it and have done so for seven years on and off. The first time was horrific as I just did not know what was happening, double vision and the world revolving and collapsing on the floor in a cold sweat and vomiting(ended up in an ambulance with blues and twos the day before my 60th birthday) had a few bouts since then one not to bad about 3 weeks ago which passed in 20 minutes but left me muzzy headed. I am prescribed SERC 16(Betahistamine) daily which keeps it at bay. If I start to feel it coming on I double the dose and get on the bed till the feeling passes.
The test to see if you are better to drive or trundle about is sit in a chair and tilt your head right back if you are OK it has passed if not you will be on the floor!

Again I am sorry you have this I would not wish it on anybody!

Thank you, I wasn't as bad as you and I am glad that you are better and under control. I've fallen over a few times, and have been working at home 3 weeks as I can't last more than 30 mins in the office. To much movent and interaction with others ! It's mixed with tinitus on one side, and mostly a case of almost always feeling like I have had a stiff drink on an emprt stomach... very light headed especially first thing in the morning !

I have tinitus in one ear(the deaf one) I was going to ask you if you had that as well. With me I find stress can bring attacks on so I know its difficult in life but try and avoid as much of it as you can.

like you wouldn't believe...... it's noise about stuff like what I put into daughters lunchbox (it was a ham and cheese cracker for snack time, not a hyperdermic with crack in it !) having my sons hair cut, my son not using clearasil lotion when here with me.... (its there, he knows how to use, been told to use it, if he doesn't and gets spotty.... well there is a lesson in life) my sister in law (in the trade by profession and qualified) painting my daughters nails for a party.... shall I go on or are we all bored !


am working at home, I can go to work but can't last long in the noise of phones and conversations, plus getting up from my desk and "Interacting" with people makes my head spin like you would not believe !

Clearing out my parents house for the last time today. We have put box after box of things through the local hospice shop, e-bayed all sorts (trains, Eddie Stobart lorries, Royal Dalton bits and pieces) to raise funds for them as well.

But so much just went straight into bin bags today...... and I left my keys there and drove away for the last time.

Sunrise, sunset and all that, a couple will move in, and start their own life soon, good luck to them, but it was a very bitter sweet way to spend the day.

TV (freeview) appears to be out of contrast/brightness, tired retuning and replugging the aerial, its not helped, everyone has super bright pink faces but their surroundings are dull

any ideas?

If its a TV with a built in freeview Scott, try a different feed in (DVD, blu ray etc) if the picture quality is the same its probably the TV thats faffed or needs adjusting, check next door, if they have the same, its the signal.

ive managed to fix it, after faffing on with it for hours, changing brightness, picture mode,contrast ETC, i decided to unplug it....when i re plugged, the screen was dull, the last setting i put it on, i brightened it up and now it works :S

I would think Peter, that unless he gets banged up for life, in solitary confinement, the other inmates, will undoubtedly give him a bloody good working over, with a bit of luck, even, "Shivved".Not even the bleeding hearts brigade could do anything to stop that, there again, he may, with a bit of luck, top himself.
