The last one quite interesting though. Rosoboronexport marketed SU-35 quite heavily to Vietnam, Indonesia and Venezuela. My bet is still Vietnam, since Chavez days in Venezuelan powered is numbered :diablo:, while Indonesian politics regrading Military procurement is 'murky' they will take ages to make decisions

Why? It was shortlisted along with Gripen NG and Rafale (Typhoon, Su-35 and F-16 were eliminated in the first phase of the FX2 selection process).

Lula (the former Brazilian president) could have confirmed the announcement of the Rafale as the winner of FX2 (as he made on Sep. 7th 2009), but he didn't. No one knows the truth behind that bizarre episode. Since then, the Brazilian government changed and also the world economy.

The fact is that all three competitors Boeing, Dassault and Saab are still working hard and spending a lot of money (marketing campaign) to convince the Brazilian government and influence local media that their proposals are the best.
