I saw them recently at Yeovilton and felt although the proximity of the aircraft to each other was incredible the display in general seemed to lack something. I can't explain it but there didn't seem to be the 'wow' factor you'd normally associate with the Red Arrows display.![]()
If you're not living on the edge then you're taking up too much space!
They are also over London for Olympics opening ceremony.

Had 9 in vee plus a chase in Belfast today. (Can't see the chase in this vid - I spotted him with the mk1 eyeball hanging a few miles east though)
I went to the sea wall at Canvey this evening, and they flew over about half a
mile to the north of where I was standing
I misjudged it ever so slightly.
Gave a superb 7-ship display at East Fortune this afternoon, managing to find just enough breaks in the Cloud for a few "Full display" items into what was predominantly rolling display.
