Just an excuse for gratuitous posting really, but I was going through some paperwork I acquired a few years ago and came across this and a few other examples from RAF Atcham's Meteorological Office in the winter of 1941/42.
I've realised that the weather forecasts are not the reason the paper has survived. On each sheet, the blank reverse has been used for note keeping by an Officer on an Admin. Course. I expect a shortage of paper in the middle of the war meant that discarded paper such as this was going to end up re-used in this way, or re-pulped, or perhaps cut up and hanging on a hook somewhere...
Hope it's of interest.
