There are a good many similar cases that I know we could solve in this region, as we did recently (although unexpectedly) with the case of Sgt W J Smith RAAF - not to mention Derek Allen.
Unfortunately, there is considerable resistance to our work in Pas de Calais/Nord due to the instransigent attitude of the authorities there who are less than co-operative.
Given the outcomes we have recently achieved, and still can achieve, it is extremely disappointing to say the least. Nonetheless, I am now pressing on with the case of three British Soldiers lost in June 1940 and buried as "unknown" who I hope we may be able to identify.
