    200mm US Paratrooper Normandy :)

Putting this one to bed before Christmas as a completed item, My intention is to do a little Diorama utilizing this one and the Warriors Para figure, but we will see.

I hope you like it..... size is 200mm or 1/9th for those that do not know.

Modifications include the addition of the netting to his helmet, first aid kit also on his helmet and a lanyard on his left shoulder for his para knife concealed in a pocket in the collar, facial stubble and the decals I printed. (Alps printed)

    OK, that's impressive!

Just wondering, isn't the flag on his arm the wrong way round?
I know it sounds strange having it backwards but wasn't that an old heraldry / civil war thing of always carrying your banner `into` battle.

I'm probably wrong and it's a nice figure.
I'll post my 1/6th Para this evening if I get the time.

Thanks everyone, Hampdon think it is only of late that the flag is as it would be flying from a pole out front, used the reference on this site at the bottom of this page for mine,

Luckily have an ALPS printer so can print white so make my own decals.

I must say that that looks absolutely stunning. The closest I've dabbled to 200mm is 1:35 scale, but I've always thought about trying something larger. Spend most of my time with railways though. That's what most customers want.
