In that condition....expect to pay around £1500-£2500....it is one of the best I have seen. Given a couple of keen bidders... who knows.
They are lovely items...but I am biased!

Ww3 huh, must know something we don't.

Not totally up to speed with the value of models but I really think someone got a bargain here, think about it, this has to be a one off and probably no other like this exsists and look at the stunning workmanship put into it, not to mention the sheer size of it.

I for one would be blown over to own a model of this standard.

Hate to say this, but I think the buyer paid well over the asking price. I believe this is a common item, they've been lingering around on ebay for a good few years at this point - and available from several different sellers. I also believe they're modern-made - wonder how many have actually been sold..

There also appears to be a Trimotor, a Ju-52 & Clipper from the same manufacturer...

I hope it gets bought to complete, not part out, that would be tragic.

look very similar to the blades fitted to the blower tunnel at work. Don't think they are aircraft at all - wind tunnel see tips for against a circular wall

I agree, I think they are Dowty Rotol test fan blades, possibly the same thing. I`ve never had a test fan, but there is a whole AP on the subject, and I think the blower tunnel blades are that shape, yes.
I have seen several of these over the years, but never a hub for them.

Grip £200 to £350 at the moment depending on condition and if B1 or B2 - latter more desirable.

The hub of the Dowty test fan is an amazing affair - we had one at the museum - took about 6 blades IIRC!

Peter as an aside, are you doing the Spit, Merlin and RR day at Dux on 6th Aug? I have emailed saying I could bring a Spitty cockpit - nothing heard back yet
