Hi Guys

As I somehow managed to delete my original thread (old age!), here is an updated list, of items urgently needed for our various projects.

1) Instrument mounting clamps, 2 inch / 50mm diameter, 18 required.

2) Instrument panel lower mounts for a Chipmunk 2 required.



3) Chipmunk engine bearers (any condition / non airworthy).

4) Chipmunk spinner.

5) Chipmunk engine oil tank mounts.

6) Chipmunk harness straps (anything at all considered /non airworthy).

7) 2 pin ground power plug, NOT the socket mounted on the aircraft.

8) Chipmunk parachute packs type S Mk.2. 2 wanted.

9) Any Chupmunk firewall / engine bay parts considered. All we have is an oil tank and exhaust at the moment.

They look the same as Vixen panel mounts, seem to start with the same part no aswel.

It is not so much the shock mount we are after, although they would help, it is the whole bracket as shown in the photo.

Yep, that was the lost thread!!!

I will happily rebuild an airplane from a pile of bits, rivet by rivet, but computers are a bloody mystery to me!!!!

Hi all

Can anyone tell us what was fitted to the shaded area around the slip ball on this Westland Wessex instrument panel please? I am assuming it's probably a light unit of some sort? if so, anyone got a pair to sell?

It may be of no use whatsoever, but i have what i am told is a Super Chipmunk spinner, in very good order, although without any paperwork.

Just thought that if you guys were discussing Chippies with other owner / operators it might be on someones list?

Happy to talk re swops, although XS186 is now complete, we still look out for JP service spares and RAF ground equipment?
