Next time - if there is a next time - try a credit card or a CD you're not that keen on anymore. They make excellent scapers! Or even better, buy a scraper.........

The best thing is during the winter there tends to be less 'news', ie the government on holiday, so this will be the focus of the media most days.
At least it'll make a change from X Factor.

The Daily Mail and those who buy it.
The media who turn everything into a major issue.
    They wheel on experts.
Start a discussion that has no hope of influencing decisions.
The self propelling news round that seems to feed of other media.
The emmediate and non stop exploration and speculation that just goes on and on and then suddenly you hear no more as if the crisis never existed.
    The Sun newspaper.
    X-factor.
The ongoing propogation of Evolution as a fact.
It's getting late I must go.

My friend's brilliant little black cat, Baldrick, having to be put to sleep.

One-eyed, half-blind in the other, but such a character.

    Sleep tight, Balders.

Fabio Capello and his decision to play Gerrard till the 85th minute.

Now we don't have him for games against West Ham, Spurs etc.

    Angry

The state that a slob (or slobs) leave the loo's at work.

I mean, I assume they were sat down, and gravity is on their side how could they miss ? (and then leave it ?)

Or why drop an apple core down the loo ?

A really unhelpful curator of an unnamed Regimental Museum who seemed to think that the enquiries made by the son of a soldier killed in action were little more than a nuisance to him.

That is a shame Kev35, I took my two children to "The Rifles (Berkshire and Wiltshire) Museum" in Salisbury a few weeks back, and the curator couldn't do enough to talk to them, encourage them to ask about the exhibits and get as much from the trip as possible. All on just a £1 entrance fee as well.
