After the action packed year with the soon to be Ex Mrs BSG-75 (plus there is more to come no doubt

) I met somebody, we've been out half a dozen times and now it seems I have a girlfriend if you can still use that term at my age.

I'm happy.

It is really only now that we are beginning to smile about this but what happened recently was that our bulldog appeared with the neighbour's cat in it's mouth. An odd thing about a bulldog is that they can kill cats as they can accelerate at tremendous speed allowing them to catch a cat just so long as the cat is nearby when they start. Of course they run out of puff very quickly but here was our dog looking pleased with himself with this dead cat, all dirty and slobbery.

We quickly took the cat off our dog and washed it and generally cleaned it up. There were no puncture marks so we assumed that it's neck was broken. After it was looking in good shape again I crept around to our neighbours house and put it on their front door step.

Then the next day the neighbour came up to me and said that the strangest thing had happened. Their cat had died of old age, they buried it in their back garden but the next morning it turned up on their front doorstep.

lots of things making me smile....

it's a bit crass but after the past few months I'll stick my neck out, got a mail today at work telling me to order a new company car.... am happy to keep the 4 and a bit year old one, but no, order away... so that will be fun....

am getting the hang (so far) of this new relationship thing as well, have not done anything "Bloke" yet, and she even came to a Spurs game with me....

oh, and I was excused jury service so I can actually get to a Spurs Champions League match (kids with me on all of the others so I missed them)
