Having my contract extended until after Christmas.

Yes, the one and only time I can remember being quite happy with this job!

Sally being a total star today at the show - even if she did come second-last with Marge on board....

Still, that's a hell of a lot better than what I would have done!!

Being loaned a rather tidy Toyota Supra for a couple of days (got to love family every now and again!).

It turns out that my ideas about progress may have been wrong... its actually quite a nice car. It managed to have me smiling while driving it, which is something a lot of modern cars fail to do.

A certain score in the Tyne - Wear derby!:diablo::diablo::diablo::diablo::diablo:

Smiling doesn't do it justice, backflipping would be more appropriate

Having a cup of tea and cake after slotting a replacement engine into the old Jag. Not a new engine, but one good enough to get it to Easter when it comes off the road for rebuilding properly.

You missed out on all the cake too! It was a toffee flavour, and it was rather nice.

(note to self... buy more toffee cake.)

It wasn't Dad's - so it didn't have that extra satisfaction that comes with stealing cake from him! It was still pretty good though.
