I thought they had ten, Reds 1-9 and a single reserve aircraft, I didn't realise they had two reserves.

If you're not living on the edge then you're taking up too much space!

At RAF Leuchars in the last few years and at Farnborough 2008 and 2010 there have been two reserve Hawks.
At RAF Leuchars on two occasions having met the entire crew and the two reserves (trainees for the forward year usually) they always have had 11 reds.
At RAF Leuchars 2010 the 11 reds were -
XX266, XX294, XX308, XX242, XX306, XX227, XX322, XX179, XX260, XX237 and XX177

Love that Tunnan shot.. such a distinctive and refreshingly different aeroplane. Also the 'Tonka' nose up shot catches the eye.
