Howard,I met two guys in the car park as i left on sat who had bought the yellow mosquito and some other items. The guy told me he would be selling the die cast stuff on for a nice profit possibly at the next aero boot next year as he only does that event and sells mainly on ebay.Just thought you may wanted to be made aware.I have no problem with buying and selling but in this case i dont think its the best thing he could do. Thanks Alan Ragsdale
Thanks for the leaflets very kind of you. I heard the morning and afternoon broadcasts on Radio Lincolnshire well done to them for the coverage. Knee op went well I have torn my cartlidge. Resting for 2 days start exercises today leg is feeling better. Off work till after Christmas lots of modeling time ! Spent the weekend reading RAF Skellingthorpe by Derek Brammer. Have ordered his No.61 Sqdn work thru Abebooks.
So far we've not fixed any dates and I'm not sure whether this will change - if a date is announced I'll be letting people know!
Could you please tell us if there is going to be a night photoshoot at Newark like we had last year please? - When our Living History Group INTO THIN AIR attended?
I don't recall any Heron contacts myself this year but I will pass on your comments and the YouTube link. I will check out whether a copy of the film would be of use to the museum.
Back last summer I was kindly given permission to get up close to your Heron 1 so that I could gather detail for a model I was then building. I don't know if you were around at the time but by way of thanks for the facility I thought you might be able to pass on my thanks to the team.
This is a link to a short film of the model flying in case any of the guys would be interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aaG7nvgUbY
I would be happy to email photos and/or a copy of the film to the museum if you think they would be of any use.
We are at Newark Scott - XM594 has been used on each of our shoots.
See June 09 page of FlyPast calendar for none of my pics of 594!
Hi TO, i didnt know that was the ex NEAM airframe, i very much doubt they will have a manual for it either, i shall ask though
quick question, know anyone whos good with vulcans and putting some external lighting on them for a photoshoot?
Sorry Scott I missed this one. I don't believe Newark has specifc manuals for that airframe - I'm told NEAM might have more idea as that's where it came from after the paperwork was sorted with the Army! Perhaps we could discuss it in more detail at Cockpitfest.
hi TO, did spidercrab get sorted with a manual for the gazelle?
Watch the skies!
