"As much as I'd love to go to RAF Leuchars, the traffic is simply horrendous and would spoil the day.

How about a counter proposal: Meet at the normal spotting place for Edinburgh Airport on the old sunday market grounds? Also known as "spooks".

I never go to RAF Leuchars by anything bar the special service trains from Edinburgh which on that day all stop at Leuchars in both directions. One of my friends foolishly tried driving last year and spent 6 hours in the car.

Because I have just graduated a few days ago and until I find full time accounting work I have a weekend part time work commitment which permitted me the freedom of the week at Uni. I have used up all my leave for exam revision until the new leave year in September hence cannot get time off on a Sat or Sun.

Would a weekday be any good to meet, e.g. after you finish work especially if the evening is fine?

Remind which access point to do I use to get to "spooks" as I often stand on the overhead footbridge at Ratho over the A8.

Another place that is quite nice is Crammond down at the shore and the local pub is okay for food and coffee and you can see them come in low from far out as they line up in finals.

Or I can come to Fife and we can have a natter over a pint or coffee or whatever - I owe myself a little relaxation now that I have completed my BA (Hons) Accounting.

Let me know what suits best.

My mum has also today her birthday. She is 31+ (my age ) years "young", so this year she will be celebrating her birthday a bit larger than mine. Next year is my turn!
