    PONDERS END Aug 30th 1940 2 sites both Me 110 DURRANTS ROAD A2+HK both crew killed in landing explosion. Enfield sewage works M8+BM both crew killed, but one member catapulted out off plane on impact with filter bed. I am in the process of trying to find out this persons name as i believe i have his pocket knife. my family used to live in Crawley Road, not far away when this all happened. The plane had been on a mission tyo Luton, to bomb Vauxhall Motors, and were shot at on the way home.
